frckoski Σκοπιανός πρ. ΥΠΕΞ : Eίμαστε ένα μικρό Σλαβικό έθνος που δεν σχετίζεται με τον Μέγα Αλέξανδρο

A couple of weeks ago we had the statements of FYROM’s former PM’s Georgievski which shocked FYROM. Today the eminent professor from FYROM and former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ljubomir Frckoski, mentioned in his column for Fokus Newspaper:

Our “Macedonian” identity of a small Slavic nation is not connected to Alexander the Great, but with our Ethnic Albanian fellow citizens, through the history of the common fight for autonomy and independence of the Macedonian state. This does not contest the identity but it only defines it and forms it.

Professor Frckoski was a member of the FYROM’s Government from 1990 till 1997. A minister without portfolio till 1992, Minister of Interior from 1992–1996, and Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1996 – 1997. He was one of the experts involved in the preparation of the new Constitution of the country on 17.11.1991, as well as the Constitutional Amendments of 2001.
